This is a good idea. I can get reimbursed from United Way, but only for
those students on free or reduced, and not for all of them. There's too
many. One of these days, I'm hoping and praying Peripole will be a vendor
for DonorsChoose!

Go to your local service clubs - Kiwanis, Optimist, Civitan, Rotary, etc. -
and
ask them to buy you a bunch of recorders. I had really good luck with our
local
Optimist club. It's a worthwhile cause ;-)
Sometimes you can pay them back by putting on a demonstration at one of
their
meetings. They are always looking for speakers.
