Why not start with "B Cool". It has two parts. The first part uses =
only B;
the second part is BAG. The only problem is a quarter rest on one in =
the
second part, but I teach by echo so they pick that up fairly quickly. =
There
are only half notes and whole notes in the first part.

It's useful for teaching 1st and 2nd endings, and staccato (each phrase =
